Abby Hewitson, aka DJ Philly

Based in North London, and married with two lovely kids, I live a busy and varied life. Coming from a rich background of entertainers, cooks, and good-time facilitators (having grown up in my parents’ wine bars and restaurants around London in the Eighties), it was no surprise that I became a professional DJ in my mid-twenties. Being part of facilitating a moment – the moment – is in my DNA. Twenty years later, having worked alongside brands such as Gucci, Omega and Dom Perignon, and clients such as Angelina Jolie, P Diddy and Prince – I know what it takes to create memories and craft music to make a crowd experience a range of emotions! 2020 has brought a new set of challenges, both for the world of events and when it comes to celebrating the special occasions. But I figured there must still be a way to come together and share some joy.
